Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:I have a lot of favorite books as well. Two of them are by Louisa May Alcott, who wrote, Little Men and Little Women. My favorite genre is murder mysteries. I do not like the gory kind. I love the Cat Who... series, by Lilian Jackson Braun., Louisa May Alcott and Lilian Jackson Braun. I'm sure there are more but these are all that comes to mind right now.

Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:I love Comedy the most, so there are so many movies that I just dearly love. The one that comes to mind is Money Pit. I love old classic comedies, Yours, Mine and Ours with Lucille O'Ball and Henry Fonda. I also love those films by Alfred Hitchcock. The Trouble With Harry, North by Northwest, Marnie, and Rear Window, just to name a few.

Interests and Activities:I really love crafts of any kind. I crochet, sew, hot glue, etc., etc.. Almost anything that you can think of I love to do and those that I haven't done yet, I would love to learn how. I would love to learn how to make candles, soap, etc. Pottery would be exciting to learn too.<br><br>I love all kinds of sports but I would rather play them with others than watch them on T.V. I love baseball, basketball, dancing, playing with my dogs outside and swimming.

Other Affiliations:N/A, I don't belong to clubs per se, but I do support any organization that is in the fight against cancer. I know so many people who have had cancer. Some won the fight and others lost the fight. I have had two different types of cancer, myself and so far I have won the fight. My last cancer was Sarcoma and I had to have a complete hysterectomy in 1999. My first cancer was Melanoma and I have to watch that one constantly. I had two uncles who died of Melanoma. It can come back at any time.

It has been my pleasure to find and invite new people to mingle with those who have been with me for a while. It is my wish for you to use these groupings to your advantage. If you have a group of your own, please think of outofourshells as a second home. If you belong to other groups, please think of outofourshells when you publish. Anyone is welcome to join as long as they agree with the Group's
description--which is mainly to show respect and to remember arguing is not the same as fighting. It is more akin to debating.
I have tried to attract as diverse a population as possible. I want our group and connections to to educate--as well as--learn from each other.

Hi Lela, I just wanted to let you know that, if you feel it in your heart, you can still be a Hippie! Hippies didn't go anywhere, they just got older! The mind set is still there - peace and love. Many younger folks believe in the same things. As for the 'look' of the '60's, you can still find that, too. There are many gatherings every year that look like you've stepped back in time. One of the largest in the country is an art and craft encampment that happens every year near Eugene, OR, called the Oregon Country Fair.
